I WANT ONE

I was reading an Interior Design style magazine recently and discovered this amazing clock that I desperately wanted.  Sadly it isn’t for sale as yet, hopefully in the future though.  This designer definitely thinks outside the square with the calculation of time.
This very clever clock was created by german designer Siren Elise Wilhelmsen. According to Wilhelmsen.   Her inspiration came drawing  from the change that is witnessed through the growth of human hair and bodies, the same concept is found in ‘365’ which translates time through the growth of knitted wool. The clock houses a circular knitting machine with 48 needles, a thread spool, a thread holder and a ball of wool. Moving in a clockwise direction, one day leads to a complete round, while a year produces 2 metres of a scarf.
I think the members of my family would be fighting over the scarf at the end of the year.
 In a year; / 12 months / 365 days / 8760 hours / 525 600 minutes / 31 536 000 seconds 438 meters of yarn /
2,19 meters of knitted scarf / 730 stitches
